NDSR: Nonduality-Based Stress Reduction
About Course
Nonduality-Based Stress Reduction (NDSR) is an 8-week, self-paced online course designed to help participants reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and cultivate psychological resilience through direct experiential practices rooted in nondual awareness.
Unlike conventional mindfulness programs that emphasize sustained attention or cognitive reframing, NDSR introduces participants to forms of awareness that are already present beneath effort, striving, or self-monitoring. Through carefully sequenced practices, reflections, and guided inquiries, participants learn to recognize stress responses as transient experiences within awareness rather than problems that must be controlled or eliminated.
This course integrates insights from contemplative traditions with contemporary psychology and neuroscience, presented in a secular, accessible, and ethically grounded format. All practices are experiential, trauma-sensitive, and adaptable to a wide range of personal, clinical, or professional contexts.
The course is suitable for adults with no prior meditation experience, as well as experienced practitioners seeking a complementary approach to stress reduction that emphasizes ease, spaciousness, and clarity rather than effort or discipline.
Important Note
NDSR is an educational and contemplative training program. It is not psychotherapy and does not replace professional mental health treatment. Participants experiencing acute psychological distress are encouraged to seek support from qualified healthcare providers.
