Appendix E — Notes for Clinicians

This program may be appropriate as a self-guided adjunct for clients who:

  • Have sufficient emotional stability

  • Are not actively dissociative or psychotic

  • Are capable of reflective self-observation

  • Have prior mindfulness exposure

Clinicians may find this program useful for:

  • Clients experiencing stress related to over-identification

  • Individuals prone to rumination or self-monitoring

  • Those seeking a less effortful relationship to internal experience

The program should not be used as a stand-alone intervention for acute trauma, severe mood disorders, or crisis situations.

Clinicians are encouraged to emphasize pacing, grounding, and the optional nature of inquiry.
